Welcome to my Italian classes! In this post, I will answer some of the most frequent questions I receive from my students and from those who are interested in learning Italian. I hope this post will be useful and encourage you to sign up for my classes!

  • Why should I learn Italian?
Italian is one of the most beautiful and romantic languages in the world, but not only that. Learning Italian will open the doors to a culture rich in history, art, literature, music, cuisine and much more. Italian is also an important language for tourism, trade, diplomacy and research. Moreover, learning a new language stimulates the brain and improves memory, creativity and communication skills.

  • What are the levels of Italian classes?
I offer Italian classes for all levels, from beginner to advanced. Each level follows the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which defines language skills according to six levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2. You can consult the description of each level on my website or take a free level test to find out which class is best for you.

  • How are the Italian classes structured?
My Italian classes are interactive and engaging. I use a communicative approach based on real situations that you might encounter in Italy or with Italians. The classes take place online via an easy-to-use platform(Google Meet), and can be either for small groups of learners(6 students max!), or one-to-one individual classes.
  • What are the materials used in the Italian classes?
The materials used in the Italian classes are varied and up-to-date. I use textbooks specially chosen for each level, which cover all aspects of the language: grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening and speaking. I also use authentic materials such as articles, videos, songs, podcasts and games to enrich the learning experience and expose you to different aspects of Italian culture.
